Sale pending on former Family Dollar property

The Family Dollar building on South Estey Street in Luverne has been vacant for the past five years. Jensen Management confirmed this week that a sale is pending on the property that once housed Jubilee Foods and Luverne True Value.

After five years of sitting empty, the former Family Dollar building on South Estey Street may be getting a new owner.

Bill Weber with Jensen Management Services, Luverne, confirmed the sale of the 11,500-square-foot facility is pending but was unable to provide specifics on transaction.

Family Dollar closed its doors in March 2010 and has been empty ever since.
