Luverne High School junior Maddie Dinger is the 2016 Tri-State Band Festival designer.
The Tri-State Band Festival partners with the Luverne High School art classes to develop individual designs for each year’s competition.
The design represents the creative spirit and energy of Luverne Public School.
It is selected in the spring of the year by the Band Festival Committee from art submitted by students in art and graphic art classes.
Dinger is the daughter of Jessica and Dave Van Batavia, Luverne, and Eric and Stephanie Dinger, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Art and design have long been a passion for this Luverne High School student, who also designed the state hockey T-shirt for the Cardinal Girls’ Hockey Team.
Dinger is the 60th Luverne High School artist to design a button for the 66th annual marching band festival.
