Luverne resident spots possible albino robin

On Oct. 16 JoAnn Strege just caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye.
“I saw a flash go by,” she said last week as she reiterated her story about seeing an albino robin, as she calls it, to the Star Herald.
Looking out her apartment picture window at the corner of Estey and Main streets, Strege spied the flash of white object on the lawn.
Upon closer inspection, she saw what looked like a robin by the neighbor’s tree. The robin, however, had white feathers on its back, tail and on its head.
“I have just never seen such a thing,” Strege said.
Quickly grabbing her camera, the nature lover snapped a couple of pictures to prove she wasn’t imagining things.
