Babydoll sheep bring April smiles

Sue Stueven said she fell in love with her Babydoll sheep due to the wooly teddy bear appearance and perpetual smiles the animals have on their faces, as demonstrated by recent newborn Olive. Monday, as temperatures rose into the mid 70s, the youngsters and their moms were let out of the barn at the Stueven farm east of Hills to enjoy the sunshine. As the lambs played, smiles spread to humans as March went out as a lamb and April opens to a forecast of continued spring weather with little precipitation.
