H-BC Elementary bids 'drive-by farewell'

Hills-Beaver Creek families and students bid farewell to H-BC Elementary staff Thursday night, May 28, by driving around the elementary school in Beaver Creek where teachers were standing on the west lawn. They gave special attention to fifth-grade teacher Jason Blosmo and paraprofessional Ashley Syndergaard, who are leaving the district.
 
Participants stayed in their vehicles, some of them carrying signs, some in open utility vehicles and golf carts, and drove by slowly to greet friendly faces they hadn’t seen during the pandemic distance learning and to accept a cookie.
