CHS Eastern Farmers gives more than $12,000 to food programs

CHS Eastern Farmers and CHS Nutrition received donations of $31,000 and more than 1,300 pounds of food during the company’s “Harvest for Hunger” campaign during the month of March.
In Luverne CHS donated $3,800 to the Luverne Public School’s Backpack Program and $8,589.78 to the Rock County Food Shelf.
The money raised came through donations from CHS vendors, sales representatives, employees and customers along with special events such as the Reuben sandwich feed in Luverne
Kyle Heronimus in the Brandon, South Dakota, office and Luverne’s Matt Mostad co-chaired the event.
