Buffalo Ridge Insurance is again in President’s Club
Buffalo Ridge Insurance Agency, Luverne, earned its 12th consecutive President’s Club distinction from the Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company in Des Moines, Iowa.
The award recognizes outstanding continued service to customers and community as well as superior performance.
Buffalo Ridge Insurance employees named in the distinction include Marilyn Bloemendaal, Cory Bloemendaal, Dawn Trendt, Steve Smedsrud, Lorie Gruis, Pam Haakenson and Katelyn Bouw.
 
Conspiracy Tattoo brings home awards
Tony Perez with Conspiracy Tattoo in Luverne received four awards at the Council Bluffs Tattoo Arts Convention Feb. 14-16 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Perez received first place in cover-up, second in XL color and two third-place awards in female XL color and large color.
This is the convention’s second year for tattoo industry professionals and the general public.
 
MN West ranked state’s No. 1 vocational school
Real Work Matters ranked Minnesota West Community & Technical College as the No. 1 vocational school in Minnesota.
The resource hub for students interested in vocational, trade or technical training began in 1998. Information can be found at rwm.org.
MN West was ranked according to class size, education program offerings and tuition rates, among other factors.
MN West operates learning centers in Luverne and Marshall and campuses in Canby, Granite Falls, Jackson, Pipestone and Worthington.
