Cardinal softball players named to Big South All-Conference Teams

Luverne placed four athletes on the Big South Conference Softball Small School Division All-Conference Team.
The Cardinals had their most successful season in program history, finishing 19-6 overall, and were Big South Conference and Section 3AA runners-up.
The all-conference team includes seventeen athletes from BSC schools.
Luverne seniors Rylee Olson and Halle Hough, junior Sydne Johnson and freshman Billi Connell all made the all-conference list.
Senior Courtney Nath was also honored with an all-conference honorable mention by the Big South Conference.
The Pipestone Arrows, who won the small division conference and Section 3AA titles, also had four athletes on the BSC Small Division All-Conference team.
The Arrows’ Mandi Miller, Paige Ahrendt, Kaitlyn Draper and Mara Taubert graced the list.
Jackson County Central was represented by Blaney Johnson, Keylee Rossow and Abagail Turner on the all-conference team.
The team also includes St. James’ athletes Renata Hernandez, Torri Mohwinkel and Addie Bowers.
Ellie Maricle and Kaitlee Huska of Windom and Redwood Valley’s AJ Guggisberg round out the small division all-conference team.
