Lois Estelle Shaffer, age 78, of Beaver Creek, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
A visitation will be Thursday, December 21 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Luverne. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church beginning at 1 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Lois is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sterling; children, Richard (Karen) and Julie (Wade); grandchildren, Amber (Andy), April (Shawn), Miranda, Memphis, Mavrick, and Mercedes; great-grandchildren Kailey, Travis, Jack, Emilia, and Otto; brother, Robert (Jean); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Louie and Estelle Bush; and brother, James.
