Dragons cap fields at W-WG triangular

Adrian's golf squads capped three-team fields during Monday’s Westbrook-Walnut Grove Triangular in Westbrook.
In the boys’ competition, host W-WG finished with a 157-stroke team tally to best Fulda (167) and AHS (187).
Dana Madson shot a 38 to earn medalist honors for the hosts, while Mitch Baumhoefner fired a 40 to lead Fulda.
Justin Elias shot a 43 to pace the Dragons, while Ben Henning and Collin Kemper added 47-stroke scores to the team tally.
Coltin Klosterman added a 50 to Adrian’s team total, while Ryan Elias and Troy Christians shot 55- and 57-stroke rounds without impacting the scoring.
Fulda registered a 195 to top W-WG (208) and Adrian (212) in the girls’ event.
Tessa Kramer shot a 42 to lead Fulda, while Avoree Bakken registered a 48 to pace W-WG.
Marissa Veld led the Dragons with a 44.
Katie Wieneke, Mackenzie Wagner and Samantha Boyle added 48-, 58- and 62-stroke rounds to Adrian’s team tally.
