The Singing Legionnaires of American Legion Post 15 from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, performed at the Tuff Memorial Home Monday, May 18. The group was formed in 1946 and performs at churches and patriotic events. Al Stanga is the director, and Katie Thompson is the accompanist. Selections the group performed included “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “It Is Well With My Soul” and “Oh Susanna.” In closing, the group sang “The Mansions Of The Lord” from the movie, “We Were Soldiers,” in memory of Tuff Home resident Arnold “Mike” Spath.
