A boy, Logan William, weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and 20 inches long, was born Thursday, April 11, at the Buena Vista Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa, to Andy and Courtney Blenner, Schaller, Iowa. Grandparents are Bryan and Mavis Fodness, Hardwick, and Tim and Kim Blenner, Schaller. Great-grandparents are Betty Olson, Luverne, and Charles and Kathy Fodness, Rushmore.

A come-and-go bridal shower for Haley Wire, bride-to-be of Tanner Skattum, will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27, in the gathering space at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne.
Loretta Haper will celebrate her 80th birthday on Saturday, May 4, with a birthday party from 1-3 p.m. at St. Catherine Church in Luverne.
