Winter weather will persist for six more weeks

Conversely, if he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring.The event has turned into a major tourist attraction for the town of 20,000. Not only do most media outlets send crews to cover the event, but hotels fill with tourists awaiting the groundhog. Preparations for the event included a live webcast on www.groundhog.org.This year, when he emerged in front of thousands of spectators, he saw his shadow.
