    Cats, dogs, rabbits and non-pet owners were characters on display Friday afternoon when the 72 kindergarten students of Luverne Elementary School performed “Best Pet Show Ever!” for friends and family in the performing arts center. The students were directed by Morgan Van Holland in the six-song program where each four pet groups received awards.

The songs and dialogue told the story of a group of sailors and pirates sailing their ships to a singing competition.
