    The following appeared in The Rock County Star-Herald on Jan. 17, 1946.   Rock County’s New Extension Agent and Soil Conservationist Are Named George Golla, 27, Shevlin, Minn., arrived this week to begin his duties as Rock county’s new extension agent.
