    The Luverne girls’ hockey team captured its first Big South Conference Championship last week.     Luverne gymnasts traveled to Marshall Thursday, Jan. 26, and beat the Tigers 127.575 to 120.700 in team competition. The win puts Luverne at a record of 9-6 for the season and 5-1 in the conference. In the all-around competition Luverne placed three gymnasts in the top four.
