Patriot golfers competed in the Section 3A golf meet Wednesday and Friday mornings in Worthington.
Senior Tess Van Maanen finished tied for third place with a score of 197.
She was in second place just one stroke off the lead with a 97 after the first day of the event and finished with a score of 100 on the second day.
“This is her third trip to the state tournament,” said coach Dan Ellingson.
She advances to the State Golf Meet June 14-15 at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker.
Senior Austin Allen was the section qualifier for the H-BC boys.
He advanced to the second day of the tournament after shooting a 99 on the first day.
He followed that up with a 95 on the second day to finish in 20th place in Section 3A.
“Austin finished well this year. He was all conference and then advanced in the section meet,” Ellingson said.
