The nine-man Southwest Conference announced its all-district teams on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots, the top-ranked team in nine-man football, were well represented.
H-BC head coach Rex Metzger was named Coach of the Year. Metzger guided the Patriots to a perfect 7-0 season that was capped off with a Section Championship.
The Patriots defeated Mountain Lake Are in the section championship, 52-7. That section championship victory capped off a season in which the Patriots outscored their opponents 238-35.
Seniors Tyson Bork and Gavin Wysong were named Offensive Players of the Year.
Tory Knobloch was named Lineman of the Year.
Bork, Wysong, Knobloch, Chase Bosch, and Zander Wysong all received all-district honors.
Calvin Erickson and Max Scholton received all-district honorable mention.
