The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots ran into a well-oiled machine, the Red Rock Central volleyball team, on Friday, Nov. 13.
The Falcons defeated H-BC 3-0 to hand the Patriots their fifth-straight loss after the Patriots started the season 3-2.
With the loss, the Patriots are now 3-7 overall.
The first set was the most competitive of the match for H-BC. The Falcons defeated H-BC 25-16 to take a 1-0 lead.
Unfortunately for the Patriots, that’s where the milk went sour.
It was all RRC in the second set, as the Falcons defeated H-BC 25-9. The third set was more of the same with the Falcons defeating the Patriots 25-10 to complete the sweep.
Abby Knobloch led H-BC with six kills and four digs.
Annie Bos recorded six assists and was perfect from the service line.
Taryn Rauk was perfect from the service line and recorded one ace.
The Patriots will play their final regular season home game on Tuesday, Nov. 17, against Edgerton. The Patriots defeated Edgerton earlier this season 3-0.
