Luverne Community Education crowns major, minor league champions

Papik Motors won the 2020 Luverne Community Education Major League baseball championship. Papik’s defeated McClure Electric 9-8 in the title game played at Joe Roberts Field July 29.

 

Schomacker Cleaning won the 2020 Luverne Community Education Minor League Softball championship. The team defeated Salon 75 20-17 Wednesday, July 29, at Joe Roberts Fields in Luverne. Members of the third place team, Lewis Drug, were divided between the two teams playing in the championship game.
