Luverne boys’ tennis team drops home opener to Sioux Falls Lincoln

The Luverne boys’ tennis team opened its season Monday, April 17, against a tough and talented Sioux Falls Lincoln team in Sioux Falls.
“For the day, we went 0-14 in matches without winning a set, but I was very impressed with everyone’s efforts and attitudes,” head coach Nate Rud said.
“Playing our first match with seven new starters against a very good team whose players play year-round was not ideal scheduling.”
Senior Parker Carbonneau played competitive in his singles match, losing 6-4, 6-2 to a strong Lincoln player.
