Luverne boys' and girls' teams finish second in home meet

Luverne cross country runners competed in their second home meet of the season on Friday, Sept. 18. In the team’s fourth meet of the season, both the girls’ and boys’ teams placed second.
Camden Janiszeski made it four straight Top Five finishes to kick off the season. Janiszeski placed third with a time of 18:13.
Griffen Jarchow also finished in the Top Five, with a fifth-place finish. Jarchow crossed the finish line with a time of 18:33.40.
For the first time this season, Tenley Nelson was not the first to cross the finish line. Nelson finished second with a time of 19:59.20.
Jenna DeBates finished third for the Cardinals. DeBates crossed the finish line with a time of 20:20.
Brooklynn Ver Steeg finished seventh with a time of 20:56.70. Regan Feit gave the Cardinals four Top 10 finishes. Feit finished 10th with a time of 21:26.30.
Elizabeth Wagner finished right behind Feit with a time of 21:31.10 to take home 11th place.
