The Luverne wrestling team traveled to Slayton Thursday, Jan. 26, to participate in a Quadrangular.
The Cardinals lost 33-24 to Fulda-MCC and 59-22 to Tracy-Milroy-Westbrook-Walnut Grove, but they finished the night with a 48-30 win over Springfield.
Luverne is now 6-10 for the season with four events left before section competition.
On Tuesday, Jan. 31, Luverne was scheduled to host a Quad with Beresford, Elk Point-Jefferson and Garretson.
The Cardinals will travel to Viborg Hurley Tuesday, Feb. 7, for a Triangular before hosting a Quad with Chester, Red Rock Central and Wabasso Thursday, Feb. 9. Luverne finishes the regular season schedule at Fulda-MCC for a Triangular Friday, Feb. 10.
