Hills-Beaver Creek High School freshman Abby Olson competed in the Minnesota Section 3A Girls’ Golf Tournament Tuesday, May, 30, in Worthington.
Olson shot a season-low 18-hole score of 112 on Tuesday, the second day of the tournament for the Patriots.
On Day 1, May 24, she shot a 114 to advance to Day 2 play.
Olson had a two-day total score of 226, giving her 13th place overall within the section.
Head coach Dan Ellingson said Olson’s section performance speaks well of her future high school golf career.
“Abby is looking forward to next year as she continually improved during the season,” he said.
Ellingson said Olson was the Patriots’ lone Red Rock All-Conference player this year.
This was Olson’s last meet for the year, having missed the top cutoff placement to advance in the tournament.
