“Any time you make it to a state tournament, the competition is always tough, but we are going to go into every game expecting to win no matter who we are playing,” said head coach Jake Haugen.

“This team definitely set the bar high for Ben Serie and my first year by making the state tournament,” Haugen said.
“I think that this group’s attitude and willingness to learn led to success this year.”
He said it was a good season for the team that showed consistent improvements.
“We definitely had our moments this summer when we looked like a team that had no business going to the state tournament,” Haugen said.
“But they learned from those games, and it really turned around in the playoffs. We have 13 players, which isn’t a ton, but those 13 guys are all in, and all of them contributed to us making state.”
