Girls win ninth BSC clash

The Luverne girls upped their Big South Conference hockey record to 9-1 with a 7-1 victory over the Minnesota River Bulldogs Monday in Le Sueur.

LHS outshot MR 38-16 and received two goals each from Rozilyn Oye, Rylee Gee and Kamryn Van Batavia to highlight the conquest.

Oye netted a power-play goal with 58 seconds remaining to account for the lone tally of the opening period.
