Blue Jays double up LHS boys

A run of three consecutive wins came to an end for the Luverne boys' hockey team when the Cardinals lost a 4-2 Big South Conference game  Thursday in Waseca.

The score was tied at two when Luverne’s Nathan Nekali scored with 2:35 remaining in the second period, but the Blue Jays produced a pair of third-period goals to secure the victory.
