A Luverne man who dedicated a good share of his life to officiating will be recognized for his service Friday at the Luverne Elementary School.

The Luverne boys’ and girls’ basketball teams are scheduled to play a varsity doubleheader that evening, a day that has been declared Jere Ohme Day in Luverne.
