H-BC tops LHS in double overtime

The 2015 version of the annual Rock County battle between the Hills-Beaver Creek and Luverne girls’ basketball teams was settled in double overtime Monday in Luverne.
H-BC, which erased deficits at the end of regulation play and the first overtime to extend play, outscored LHS 11-6 in the second extra session to secure a 74-69 victory.
