Luverne’s Suzie Walgrave is still kicking.

In the early 1990s, when I was still a fairly new scribe here in Southwest Minnesota, I recall being amazed by the prowess of a young member of the Luverne Tae Kwon Do Club.

It was Walgrave who captured my attention back then.

She joined the local club at the age of nine back in 1989.
