E-Gals roll over EHS girls

The Ellsworth Panthers dropped their first girls' basketball game of 2016 when they squared off against the Southwest Christian E-Gals in Edgerton Thursday.

EHS fell behind by 12 points (25-13) in the first half before being outscored 38-22 in the second half to fall 63-35 at game's end.

Megan Popkes scored 20 points and pulled down six rebounds for the winless Panthers.
