The existing feedlot has a 51’x168’ total confinement building with a 51’x168’x8’ poured concrete pit, two (2) 41’x200’ total confinement buildings with 41’x200’x8’ poured concrete pits. These have a capacity of 3000 head of finishing pigs equaling 900 animal units.The proposed facility consists of a 101’x160’ total confinement barn to house 2000 head of swine between 55 and 300 pounds. Using 0.3 animal units per head, total animal units are 600. The building shall have a 101’x160’x8’ poured reinforced concrete pit for manure storage. The total animal unit capacity for this building will be 600. The site will have a final capacity of 5000 head of finishing pigs equaling 1500 animal units.
