Dispatch report
Nov. 20
•Deputy stopped subject who had a suspended driver’s license. She was cited for no Minnesota driver’s license and G&S towed the vehicle.
•Complainant reported that a vehicle just went through the stop arm of a bus by the American Reformed Church. A gold-colored vehicle that is now in the lot of the church.
•Complainant reported possible child abuse.
•Complainant reported child neglect.
•Complainant reported possible child abuse.
•Complainant reported possible child abuse.
•Complainant reported little kids playing in a snow pile on S. Kniss Ave. It is close to the street and is worried they could get hit by a car.
•Deputy assisted State Patrol with a rollover on I-90, mm 16.
Nov. 21
•Complainant reported a red SUV in the ditch on County Rd. 3, south of I-90. Contacted Erwin’s to tow.
•Deputy arrested subject for 5th degree assault and subject was taken to jail.
•Complainant reported Lifeline button activation. No ambulance needed.
Nov. 22
•Complainant requested a deputy for a disorderly person.
•Deputy arrested subject for 5th degree assault. Subject was taken to jail.
Nov. 23
•Complainant reported a bad check to Godfather’s Pizza in the amount of $30.81.
•Complainant reported she was hired by a mortgage company to take pictures of a property. When she attempted to make contact with the resident to advise what she was doing, no one answered the door so she started taking pictures. A woman came out of the house with a gun and asked what she was doing. She was told to get off the property. She would like a deputy to go with her if she has to go back.
•Complainant reported they had snowmobiles go across their yard Friday night. They now have marks on their driveway and would like a deputy to follow the tracks and see who is doing it.
Nov. 24
•Complainant turned in a license plate that was found at the car wash. Notified owner.
•Complainant reported she made a right hand turn off Main Street and she heard a noise. She went to the gas station and noticed that her mirror was pushed in. She wanted to let us know in case we had any reports of anything getting hit. She has a gray Trailblazer.
•Complainant reported some people going door to door with dish soap trying to sell the product. They were headed east and driving a white or gray Dodge Durango. Complainant wanted to make sure they were legit. They do not have a solicitor’s license from the city.
Nov. 25
•Complainant reported she is a crossing guard at Dodge Street and Kniss Avenue and there is a bike lying in someone’s yard. Deputy put the bike in the impound at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. If someone identifies it, they can claim it.
•Complainant reported identity theft. Someone used her debit card in Colorado.
•Complainant is on work release and requested to work in Rock County. Permission was granted.
•Complainant reported she got most of her things out of the house but male is intoxicated and won’t let her take her TV.  Advised she needs paperwork because it’s a civil matter. She will get the paperwork and come back.
•Complainant reported a CO2 alarm at McDonald’s. Paged Luverne Fire Department.
•Deputy arrested subject for DWI and took him to jail.
Nov. 26
•Complainant reported he has not had contact with his son for 2 1/2 weeks and he is very concerned about him and would like someone to check on him. Contacted the mother who said everything was fine.
•Complainant reported she locked her one-year-old in the van. Deputy assisted in getting child out.
•Complainant reported he can’t control his 17-year-old son and requested to speak with someone about it.
•Dispatcher received a 911 call from a home with no answer on ringback. Sent deputy who reported no one was home.
In addition, officers responded to 13 motor vehicle accidents, 1 deer accident, 1 vehicle in ditch, 1 transport, 4 funeral escorts, 10 ambulance runs, 1 parking violation, 1 paper service, 6 animal complaints, 3 false alarms, 7 log/alarm sheets, 7 drug court tests, and issued 7 purchase/carry permits and 3 burn permits.
