Aug. 28
•Complainant requested a deputy drive by his mother’s house and check to see if she is home. She was driving home last night with another person and they have not been heard from and he can’t reach her on her cell.
•Reserved for POR registration.
•Complainant reported someone keeps following him around town and stares at him and makes gestures toward him.
•Deputy had a vehicle towed for no registration, being parked on the wrong side of the road, and a flat tire.
•Complainant reported the Fire Department will be out at the football game in Hills.
•Complainant requested a lift assist for her husband who fell. Subject refused an ambulance. Paged Hardwick first responders to assist.
•Complainant reported a loud party on E. Oakland Ave. Deputy spoke to subjects.

Aug. 29
•Deputy arrested subject for DWI. He was taken to jail.
•Complainant reported theft.
•Hills Fire Chief requested to be paged to Lester, Iowa, for mutual aid for a structure fire.
•Complainant brought in a street sign. Placed in conference room.
•Complainant requested a business check for the next week or so.
•Deputy cited subject for D.A.R. Contacted G&S to tow.
Aug. 30
•Complainant reported someone vandalized their home and vehicle in Magnolia.
•Complainant reported the stop sign at County Rd. 4 and Brook Street in Magnolia has been egged.
•Complainant reported subject is harassing him and his roommate over text messages.
•Complainant requested deputy for assistance during a child exchange.
•Complainant reported he is being harassed by a person in Luverne.
•Complainant reported he is being harassed by his ex girlfriend.
Aug. 31
•Complainant reported she was pulled over earlier and stated the next time she gets pulled over she is going to start throwing punches.
•Complainant reported there is a trailer on his property and he is not sure who put it there. Complainant wanted it checked to make sure it wasn’t stolen.

•Dispatcher received a 911 call with people talking in the background but no sign of distress. Called them back; pocket dial.
•Complainant reported a vehicle she followed since Sioux Falls was swerving, even with oncoming traffic. The vehicle crossed the line several times and turned onto 20th Ave. heading toward Manley from County Rd. 17.
•Complainant reported he and his wife got into an argument about a day and a half ago and she said she was not coming home that night and she has not been home since. Complainant called at about 8:55 p.m. and said his wife returned home.
•Complainant reported they would be doing a controlled burn out by the quarry.
Sept. 1
•Complainant reported a vulnerable adult.
•Complainant requested to speak with a deputy about a custody issue. They were in touch with the Crisis Center. Family Services was notified.
•Complainant reported she has been threatened and wants statement forms to fill out.
•Deputy reported an unoccupied vehicle well off the road with a flat tire on I-90 westbound lane mm 10. Notified State Patrol.
•Complainant requested a deputy for subject who requested to speak with law enforcement.
•Dispatcher received two abandoned 911 calls. Pocket dials.
•Dispatcher received a 911 call from Pipestone County. Gave information to them.
•Complainant reported her daughter’s phone was stolen from the PE locker at school between 8:20 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Sept. 2
•Complainant reported a semi driving southbound in front of the school going 40 m.p.h.
•Complainant reported that sometime in the last few nights, someone has tried to break into a shed by trying to pry the door open. Unsure if anything is missing.
•Complainant reported her landlord is in the house and didn’t give her notice that he would be there. There was lots of yelling and screaming in the background. Deputy reported suspect was gone upon arrival so he will go speak with him.

•Complainant reported a white Cadillac parked on E. Main Street with expired plates.
•Complainant reported her son was beaten up going into the school today. This is repetitive behavior over the last couple of years and she wants to file some sort of report. A teacher saw it happen and one kid got in trouble.
•Complainant reported when she came home tonight, she found a needle stabbed into her dresser and some peanut butter is missing. Complainant would like a deputy to check her house to make sure no one is there.
•Deputy requested an ICR for a traffic stop on N. Oakley St.
•Deputy stopped vehicle and cited him for no Minnesota driver’s license. G&S towed vehicle.
Sept. 3
•Deputy stopped subject and arrested her for DWI and took her to jail.
•Complainant reported a client was supposed to be back at 2 p.m. and he is not back yet.
•Complainant reported that a silver Chevy pickup was driving the wrong way down the one way road in front of the school around 7 a.m. There were about three guys in the pickup. Complainant yelled at them but would like a deputy to speak with the driver.
•Complainant reported child has been abandoned. Found the child in day care. There is no formal custody agreement so child will stay there.
•Dispatcher received several calls from a cell phone without service. Sent deputy to check it out.
•Complainant requested a family member be UA’d. Paid $25.
•Deputy served a Nobles County warrant on individual. Subject posted bond and was given a court date of Sept. 21 at 8 a.m.
•Complainant reported a car passed him and almost hit a couple of other cars. There were several kids in the car. Complainant is willing to sign a complaint.
In addition, officers responded to 4 motor vehicle accidents, 3 transports, 2 funeral escorts, 13 ambulance runs, 3 paper services, 6 animal complaints, 2 false alarms, 3 fingerprint requests, 2 drivers license checks, 7 log/alarm sheets, 8 drug court tests, and issued 6 purchase/carry permits and 2 burn permits.
