Nov. 6
•Complainant reported possible child abuse that occurred in Rock County.
•Complainant reported she found a debit card at the café in Magnolia. Owner was notified that he can pick it up when the café is open.
•Complainant reported a man has been sitting in a car for a couple of hours and will not respond when they knock on the windows. Sent deputies who arrested subject and took him to jail.
•Complainant reported she hasn’t been able to get in touch with her daughter and she is worried about her. Also, her grandmother passed away and she wants to let her know the funeral is tomorrow.
•Complainant reported subjects are driving around intoxicated.
•Complainant requested the ambulance for a resident who fell. Unknown injuries.
Nov. 7
•Complainant requested the ambulance for a resident who fell again.
•Pipestone County Sherriff’s Office received a call regarding a car engulfed in flames on the railroad tracks on 241st  Street.
•Complainant reported a possible domestic that occurred in Minnehaha County but the parties may be in Rock County and they would like them checked on.
•The Eagle Club reported they are having a steak fry and don’t have any natural gas. Contacted Centerpoint Energy and they will get someone out there as soon as possible.
•Complainant reported there are people outside being loud on W. Warren Street.
Nov. 8
•Complainant reported subject is getting angry about “racist dancing” and he was going to wait until the bar closed and then take care of things. Subject was removed for the night.
•Complainant reported subject sent a threatening message and is suicidal.
•Deputy stopped subject and cited him for no driver’s license and had Erwin’s tow vehicle to their lot.
•Complainant reported subject is intoxicated and attempting to drive home with a six-year-old child. Subject is being loud and complainant needs to go to sleep.
•Complainant requested info on getting a restraining order on a family member.
•Complainant in Beaver Creek reported problems with renters not paying rent and other problems.
•Complainant reported a semi all over the road from County Rd. 17 to the Iowa border. Transferred to Lyon County, IA.
•Complainant requested we check on subject. She spoke with her yesterday and she was very down.
•Complainant requested to speak with a deputy about a question she has.
Nov. 9
•Complainant in Hills reported she thought there were some boys in her garage. Her dog was barking and when she looked out the window, the garage lights went on and off twice. This is the second time this has happened. Complainant does not want a deputy to come tonight.
•Complainant from Hardwick reported some things are happening in town again. Deputy reported complainant has some mental health issues.
•Complainant reported a car running a stop arm on a school bus. Tan vehicle, Minnesota license plates. An older man was driving.
•Complainant reported a red phone was found at the state park a week ago or so, and it was turned into the sheriff’s office.
•Complainant requested a deputy to keep the peace with the landlord while they move items out of a rental house.
•Complainant reported she lost her keys by the armory. They are for a Toyota Rav 4.
•Complainant reported he had some items stolen out of his vehicle sometime between Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning.

•Complainant reported that her former renter somehow got back into the house after the locks were changed. She is not to be there and it’s been rented out again.
•Complainant reported a silver car parked on 190th Ave. where he saw some people in yellow vests enter the cornfield. Complainant advised they should not be hunting in that area.
•Complainant reported a fire burning at W. Lincoln and W. Main Streets. Complainant does not think anyone is tending to the fire and thinks they may be burning leaves. Deputy checked and they are there with the fire and burning wood.
•Complainant turned in a knife she found on S. Fairview Drive on the road.
•Complainant turned in a cell phone found in front of the Carnegie Cultural Center.
•Court issued a warrant for failure to appear.
Nov. 10
•Reserved for H.E.A.T. team callout to Okoboji, Iowa.
•Dispatcher received a 911 call with no answer. Called back and female said she was OK.
•Complainant reported a vehicle has gone through the school bus stop arm twice now. They would like the young man talked to so it doesn’t happen again. Deputy spoke with him and his mother.
•Complainant reported family health issues and other problems.
•Complainant called 911 again with no particular problem. She was told not to call 911 unless it was an emergency and not to call in unless something was really wrong.
•Complainant reported he lost his phone Saturday somewhere in Luverne. It’s a Samsung Galaxy 4 with a black cover.
•Complainant reported a missing female, approximately 5’7”, 130 lbs, with dark blonde hair and glasses. Last seen wearing jeans and a light colored sweatshirt. Entered into NCIC. Complainant called back and said they located her.
•Complainant reported a red semi with a tanker on it that goes past his place faster than the 55 miles per hour speed limit and it goes by every ten minutes from 8 a.m. to midnight. This has been going on for about a week.
•Complainant reported a semi with tanker swerving out of its lane and advised when they were north of Luverne a car attempted to pass the truck and it swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic so the car could not go around. Notified state patrol.
Nov. 11
•Reserved for POR registration.
•Deputy issued a deer kill tag to subject.
•Complainant reported there is a flag lying on the bridge. Deputy picked up two flags and advised the city crew they might want to remove them before more fall.
•Deputy reported a van with a door open in a parking lot. Contacted owner.
Nov. 12
•Complainant reported her neighbor turned the front porch light on and the neighbor got into a vehicle and left town.
•Complainant reported child custody issues with his ex who lives in Rock County.
•Complainant reported a theft from subject.
•Complainant requested a deputy be present while she picks up her child from the father in case there are problems.
•Complainant stopped in to say she will be gone for a while and wanted to give permission for the sheriff’s office to put a camera on top of her house while she’s gone.
•Complainant radioed in that they would be out of town for training.
•Complainant reported someone just said they were repossessing her car; jumped in and took off westbound on I-90. Deputy stopped the vehicle and the man worked for Dakota adjusters and had the paperwork to take the vehicle.
•Complainant reported he will be back to repossess a white Charger tomorrow.
•Complainant reported he just repossessed a vehicle from Luverne. He is with Repossessors Inc.
•Complainant reported he is the owner of Dakota Adjusters and he has an issue he would like to speak with someone about concerning a repossession.
 
In addition, officers responded to 3 motor vehicle accidents, 5 deer accidents, 1 transport, 4 funeral escorts, 14 ambulance runs, 5 paper services, 9 animal complaints, 1 false alarm, 3 fingerprint requests, 1 driver’s license check, 7 log/alarm sheets, 4 drug court tests, and issued 7 purchase/carry permits and 4 burn permits.
