May 22
•Complainant requested the number of a locksmith to unlock his vehicle.
•Complainant reported problems after they fired an employee.
•Complainant reported theft of money.
•Complainant reported that since school has been out, kids are speeding around W. Warren Street and S. Donaldson Street.
•Complainant reported a car has been parked on E. Main Street for at least two days.
•Complainant reported there is a  property line dispute and his neighbor ran over his solar lights with a lawn mower.
•Complainant requested deputies escort him onto his property because of an order in place.
•Dispatcher received a cell call with talking on the other end but they weren’t talking to the dispatcher. Sent deputy to check the area. Pocket dial.
•Complainant reported subject is selling stuff out of his house and she isn’t supposed to yet.
•Complainant reported a fire east of Luverne exit, north of I-90. It may be a controlled burn but they’re not sure. Deputy located the fire and advised subject that if he has a current burn permit, he has to call it in.
•Complainant reported that at approximately 10 p.m. tonight, she had a threatening phone conversation with her fiancé’s ex-wife who threatened to come there and shoot her and her son. Subject may have been drinking or drunk, and complainant would like to file charges. Sent deputies to speak with subject.
May 23
•Deputy spoke with subject who will be fishing at the pond with her two juvenile kids. Deputy okayed it as long as that was all they were doing.
•Complainant reported last Saturday he found a large trailer receiver hitch on the road.
•Complainant reported the tenant upstairs above her store has been blaring his music since 10 a.m.
•Complainant reported he lost his black leather wallet with ID in it.
•Complainant reported a fire alarm at the Veterans Home. Paged Luverne Fire Department.
•Complainant reported some of her items were stolen out of the garage on W. Brown Street.
•Complainant requested deputies for two teenagers being disrespectful. One is his daughter and one is his niece.
May 24
•Complainant reported a red vehicle hit a hay rack and left the scene on S. Freeman Ave. Collected red passenger side mirror. No damage to hay rack.
•Complainant reported a white Sedan passed her in the parking lane on Main St. and almost hit a parked car. Vehicle was also swerving all over the road. Complainant will sign a complaint.
•Complainant reported cars are going down S. Donaldson Street too fast because of the detour. It is not the detour and if people are going to use it, they need to put up signs. The cars are noisy and waking up her two-year-old.
•Complainant requested an escort onto the property because of an order.
•Complainant reported a white Mustang going 120 mph. Tried to get ahead of it. Gave to state patrol and South Dakota. Deputy caught up to vehicle and cited subject for speed. He paid the fine at the Sherriff’s Office.
•Trooper arrested man on a warrant out of Hennepin Co. Paid the bond and released.
•Complainant reported that her daughter is being harassed.
May 25
•Dispatcher received a 911 hang-up call. Female party said everything was fine but there was a male yelling in the background. Sent deputy to check it out. Female said it was not physical, just verbal.
•Complainant reported that he lives in Pipestone County and he had a friend over the other day who stole some of his fishing rods. He spoke with that sheriff’s office and they can’t do anything until he proves that she did it so he wanted Rock County to do something. He was directed back to Pipestone.
•Complainant reported some money is missing from her apartment.
•Complainant requested to speak with a deputy about an issue.
•Complainant requested to speak with a deputy about property exchange.
May 26
•Complainant reported she heard voices outside her house and then knocking on her door. Requested property be checked and she wanted to speak to a deputy.
•Complainant reported a woman at the gas station who is refusing to leave and is asking people for money for gas. Subject was helped through Salvation Army and sent on her way.
•Complainant reported that he has a restraining order on his brother and there are issues. Had him speak with the sheriff.
•Deputy made traffic stop on W. Warren Street and took driver to jail.
•Complainant reported she has a new code to her house and does not want to give it to the sheriff’s office but will give it to Lifeline and they can give it if they have to call in.
•Complainant requested we send a deputy to check for some stolen property and let Pipestone County know.
•Complainant requested a deputy check on two juveniles in the elevator alleyway in Hills. They are jumping with their bikes and tipping over garbage dumpsters.
•Deputy arrested subject and took him to jail. Vehicle was towed.
•Deputy attempted to pull vehicle over and vehicle would not stop. It continued on to the Luverne exit and pulled into McDonald’s and stopped. Driver did not know the rules of the road, as he was from China.
•Dispatch received a 911 hang-up call. No answer on callback. Made contact with subject and it was a misdial.
•Deputy stopped subject and cited him for underage consumption.
May 27
•Complainant reported the arms are down and the lights are flashing at the railroad crossing by Manley. No train is coming. Contacted BNSF RR.
•Deputy transported a DVD to Lyon County and handed it off to their detective.
•Deputy arrested female for obstructing the US Marshalls investigation.
•Complainant reported she thinks her purple purse was stolen when she was getting her hair done.
•Complainant reported two toddlers playing in the street and he couldn’t get them to go back to their yard. Deputy spoke to the mother and she will watch them more closely.
•Complainant requested an escort as there is an order in place.
•Complainant reported a vehicle all over the road.
•Deputy warned subject for failure to pick up dog droppings and sent her back to do it.
•Complainant reported she is being harassed over text message in violation of an order for protection.
•Complainant reported a drunk man walking down Main St. asking for painkillers and beer. He is wearing a white T-shirt and camo hat.
•Deputy served a warrant out of Nobles County on subject. He was arrested and taken to jail and turned over to them.
May 28
•Deputy located an open door on a business.
•Complainant reported an erratic driver headed eastbound on I-90 by mm 7.
•Complainant reported 71st Street and 144th Avenue will be closed for repairs on 5/28 and 5/29.
•Complainant reported the road will be closed at the railroad tracks on Rock River Dr. by the city park. Will be finished by the end of the day.
•Complainant reported white silage trucks have been driving at higher speeds than posted in the area of Hwy. 270 and 60th Avenue.
•Complainant reported that sometime on the night of 5/26 her cable box was severely damaged. It looks like someone hit it with a vehicle, resulting in it being pushed out of the ground.
•Complainant reported a man at the gas station that looks rough. He may be intoxicated and has been asking for rides to Worthington. He is not causing any trouble but they would like a deputy to speak to him. Deputy transported him to Nobles County.
In addition, officers responded to 4 motor vehicle accidents, 1 deer accident, 1 funeral escort, 26 ambulance runs, 3 paper services, 7 animal complaints, 1 false alarm, 1 fingerprint request, 7 log/alarm sheets, 3 drug court tests, and issued 3 purchase/carry permits and 20 burn permits.
