Ridgewater College dean’s list
Ridgewater College, Willmar, has named Matthew Raak, Jasper, and Spencer Stroeh, Luverne, to the Spring 2016 dean’s list. To earn this honor, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average with 12 or more credit hours.
Northwestern College, Orange City
Ryan Weitgenant graduated Saturday, May 14, from Northwestern College, Orange City, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in actuarial science.
He is the son of Ned and Ruth Weitgenant of Hills.
Dakota State University Madison
Logan Herman and Joel Wohnoutka, both of Luverne, graduated from Dakota State University, Madison, South Dakota, Saturday, May 7.
Logan earned an Associate of Science degree in respiratory care.
Joel received a Master of Science degree in applied computer science.
Northeast Community College
Katherine Juhl, Luverne, was named to the Spring 2016 president’s list at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska.
To be named to the list, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average with at least 12 credit hours.
LATI graduation and honors list
Several area students graduated in commencement ceremonies at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota, Friday, May 13.
Trevor Teal, Luverne, received a degree in agriculture.
Glen Dreesen, Ellsworth, graduated with a degree in diesel technology.
Courtney Hemme, Hardwick, earned a degree in occupational therapy assistant.
Lake Area Technical Institute also named Glen Dreesen, Ellsworth, Trevor Teal, Luverne, and Matthew McLeod, Hills, to the Spring 2016 President’s List.
To earn this honor students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher while remaining enrolled full time.
