Local student named to USF dean’s list
The University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has released its dean’s list for the 2015 fall semester. Included on the list is senior elementary education major Meghan Leuthold, Hills. To qualify, students must earn a 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.
Area student recognized on St. Olaf College dean’s list
St. Olaf College, Northfield, has named Jonathon Vajgrt to the Fall 2015 dean’s list. To attain this honor, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Jonathon is the son of Terry and Michelle Vajgrt, Luverne.
SDSU announces fall 2015 graduates
The following area students graduated at the end of the Fall 2015 semester from South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota: Mitchell Voss, Adrian, Bachelor of Science, nursing; Joshua Boomgaarden, Beaver Creek, Bachelor of Science, agriculture and biological sciences; and Jessica Fick, Luverne, cum laude, Bachelor of Science, education and human sciences.
Olson named to dean’s list at Augustana
Kirsten Olson, Luverne, has been named to the Fall 2015 dean’s list at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. To be named, students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
