Stroeh on Ridgewater College list of graduates

Spencer Stroeh, Luverne, graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar at the Srping 2017 commencement ceremony May 12, 2017.

 Stroeh earned his diploma in Farm Operation Management.

 

Area students receive scholarships at SDSU

Three area students will receive scholarships for the upcoming academic year at South Dakota State University in Brookings.

Jed Burgers, son of Stacen and Donna Burgers, Hills, will receive the Yellow and Blue Scholarship. He plans to major in wildlife and fisheries sciences, and natural resource law enforcement.

Zayna Hustoft, daughter of Shawn Hustoft and Brad Hustoft, Luverne, will also receive a Yellow and Blue Scholarship. She is undecided on a major.

Tanner Wiese, son of Dan and Lisa Wiese, Luverne, will receive the Yellow and Blue Scholarship. He plans to major in mechanical engineering.

 

Area students graduate from SDSU

Several area students received degrees at the Spring 2017 graduation ceremony at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.

Hilary Deragisch, Luverne, graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy and allied health professions.

Alyssa Hoff, Luverne, received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

D’Shaun Herman, Ellsworth, earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree.

Tracy Schultz, Ellsworth, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Brandon Vander Ziel, Hardwick, was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and biological sciences.

Nicholas Lorang, Lismore, received a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and biological sciences.

 

McClure named to U of M dean’s list

Montana McClure, Magnolia, was named to the Spring 2017 dean’s list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. To make the list, students must complete 12 or more graded credits with at least a 3.66 GPA.

McClure is a senior in Medical School at the university.
