Soto receives scholarship to continue professional development courses

Carrie Soto, Luverne, recently received a $1,000 scholarship through the Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation.
Application for the annual scholarships is open to members who’ve shown dedication to the field of long-term health.
Patti Cullen, president of Care Providers of Minnesota, presented Soto with the scholarship during a special ceremony at Poplar Creek. Thirty tenants and staff attended the event in Soto’s honor.
Soto, the senior living manager for Good Samaritan Society — Luverne for the past five years, will complete coursework for a graduate certificate in health care management through the University of Sioux Falls beginning in January 2020.
She was among 52 applicants, 14 of whom received scholarships.
