Luverne’s Jeremy Pitts is the newest member of the truck technician crew at Jaycox Truck and Trailer Service.
Pitts grew up near Garretson, South Dakota, and earned his diesel mechanics degree at Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls.
He has several years of experience, most recently at Tony’s Diesel, Sioux Falls.
Pitts, who now lives in Luverne, started with Jaycox Implement Monday, May 23.
“I’ve really enjoyed it,” he said about his new job. “I get to work on a variety of equipment.”
He listed front-end suspension work, emissions repair and tires as a few of his assignments in those first few days. “It makes the days go fast,” he said.
As the truck business continues to grow for Jaycox Truck and Trailer Service, the company is adding staff. It has purchased the Luverne Auto Body building will have four times the space this fall.
