Region 6 Awards Banquet
Andrea Severtson and Maddie Oye attended the Region 6 FFA Awards banquet Monday, April 20, at the Community Center in Westbrook.
Andrea received a first place plaque for the Dairy Handling contest. Maddie performed in the talent contest and earned first place overall.
Andrea and Maddie earned the right to compete in their respective contests in the Minnesota State FFA Convention.
State FFA Convention
Andrea Severtson and Maddie Oye traveled to Minneapolis/St. Paul to participate in the State FFA Convention April 26-28. Maddie performed in the State FFA Convention Talent contest on Sunday evening along with 15 other FFA members from across Minnesota.
Andrea participated in the State FFA Convention Dairy Handlers Contest at the Minnesota State Fair Coliseum and earned a spot in the top eight individuals.
The Chapter received a Membership Growth Award for this past year and a Certificate of Appreciation from Camp Courage-Corn Drive donation.
