Northwestern College

Klint Knutson, a sophomore at Northwestern College, Orange City, Iowa, will study for a month this summer in the Czech Republic.

Participants will compare and contrast the nation’s sports, fitness and leisure pursuits with those of the United States. The program is led by Northwestern College professors.

Knutson, a biology health professions major, is the son of Kristi Knutson, Magnolia.

 

MSU, Mankato

Two Luverne area students graduated Saturday, May 9, from Minnesota State University in Mankato.

Jennifer Nath received a Master of Science degree in experiential education, and Morgan Sommers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology.

 

Winona State University

Hannah Baartman graduated summa cum laude from Winona State University Friday, May 8, with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science/movement science.

She will continue her studies at Rochester Mayo for three years to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.

Baartman, a 2011 Luverne High School graduate, is the daughter of Bruce and Vicki Baartman of Brandon, South Dakota.

 

University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Zane Aubert, Luverne, was among more than 2,900 who graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9.

Aubert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
