Western University
Jake Hendricks graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California, on Wednesday, May 20, with a doctorate of physical therapy degree.
Jake, a 2006 Luverne High School graduate, is the son of Bruce and Kathie Hendricks, Luverne.
 
Northwestern College
Klint Knutson, a junior majoring in biology health professions, was recently named to the Northwestern College, Orange City, Iowa, dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester for earning a perfect 4.0 GPA.
He is the son of Kristi Knutson of Magnolia.
 
St. Cloud State
Montana McClure, Magnolia, has been named to St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester. She is majoring in biomedical sciences in the College of Science and Engineering.
Students must earn a 3.75 GPA or higher to be named to the dean’s list.
 
Bethany Lutheran College
Two 2014 Luverne High School graduates were recently named to the Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, dean’s list for the Spring 2015 semester.
They are Andrew Jelken, son of James and Paula Jelken, Luverne, and Cora Mumme, daughter of Mark and Beth Mumme, Hardwick.
To be named to the dean’s list, students must carry at least 14 credits and earn a 3.5 GPA or higher.
 
 
Dakota State University
Several area students were named to the Dakota State University, Madison, South Dakota, were named to the president’s academic honors list for the Spring 2015 semester.
They are Brianna Lutmer and Whitney Oehlerts, both of Adrian; Austin Dirks, Ellsworth; Kaitlin Behrend, David Vortherms and Joel Wohnoutka, all of Luverne.
To qualify for the president’s list, full-time and part-time students must earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.
 
 
Gustavus Adolphus College
Andrew Lonneman, Adrian, graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, on Sunday, May 31, with a bachelor of arts degree in public accounting.
