Hartman awarded Coke/Pizza Ranch scholarship

Lead Summary

Luverne’s Caitlyn Hartman was awarded a $2,000 scholarship through the Pizza Ranch Coca-Cola Scholarship program, which awards multiple $2,000 scholarships each year.
The scholarships are for current Pizza Ranch employees who plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution for the first time this fall.
Awards are made based on written essays that detail how their actions exemplify the Pizza Ranch vision and mission, and Pizza Ranch general managers submit letters of recommendation for their employees.
“We were so excited to have someone from Luverne get this scholarship,” said Lila Bauer of Pizza Ranch, Luverne.
To date, Pizza Ranch Inc. has given out over $40,000 in grants to its employees through the Pizza Ranch Coca-Cola Scholarships program.
“These young individuals are outstanding employees and they embody what Pizza Ranch is all about,” said the Pizza Ranch/Coca-Cola Scholarship Committee.
“Although we are in the food business, to us it’s much more. On a daily basis we hold ourselves accountable to our guests and the community to positively impact their lives. Our employees are making our communities a better place.”
Hartman is the daughter of Eric and Cheryl Hartman, Luverne, and a 2015 graduate of Luverne High School.
