For the third time in five years, Midwest Fire Equipment, Luverne, was named to the Prairie Business magazine’s “50 Best Places to Work 2019” contest.
More than 1,400 employee-written nominations were submitted for this year’s competition.
“It’s a huge honor to be featured among so many successful businesses in our state and, even more so, to be chosen for the third time,” said Midwest Fire Chief Executive Officer Sarah Atchison. “I attribute our success to our team of experienced professionals and the business culture we have created together.”
The magazine conducts the competition each year to recognize the region’s best places to work, based on employee appeal and nomination.
Midwest Fire also received recognition in 2015 and 2016. The award looks at benefits, work culture, general employee happiness and various other factors.
The winners are featured in the magazine’s September issue.
