The building, which is located south of the football field, gained its rafters on Tuesday. Wulf Bros. began working on the road, which goes past the new building and then east to County Road 6."25 years ago (1979)"Paul Skattum left Wednesday for Winona to visit friends after a visit with his parents, the Asle Skattums. He had been attending summer school there. He will go on to Edgewood, Iowa, to spend a few days with his brother, Roger and family, and then go on to Cleveland, Ohio. At Cleveland he will be enrolled at the Community College where he will study to become a physician’s assistant. Paul returned home in May after serving overseas for two years in the Peace Corps." 50 years ago (1954)"A 1/c Elbers arrived Tuesday from Minneapolis where he had taken part in the World’s Softball Tournament.
