Pike: Kudos to city of Luverne; now keep the beautification going

To the Editor:

I’m happy the city took out the three condemned homes and the fourth will soon follow, I hope.

Now the city has to take out the old laundromat. It looks worse than the three houses that went. That corner would look beautiful with a flower garden.  This would be a good project for 4-H or the Girl Scouts or any of the clubs.

Keep working on Sharkee’s Bar because it will degrade the beauty of South Hwy. 75 when it gets done.
