Wayne A. Brown, age 85, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on January 25, 2024, at his home in Phoenix, Arizona.
Wayne was born in Iowa City, Iowa, to Darold Brown and Helen “Marge” (Stanton) Hoffman. He served in the U.S. Military in the Navy and the Minnesota and South Dakota Army National Guard.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn (Ray) Brown; his children Douglas, Michael, Marc (Terri), and Christina Brown; his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; his sister Sandy Brown and brothers Darold Brown and Dennis Hoffman, many sisters and brothers in-law, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen “Marge” Hoffman and Darold Brown, his sisters Darlene Hoffman, Sherry Buysse and Linda Chada, his brothers, Darrell Brown, Kenneth Hoffman, Charles Hoffman, Bruce Hoffman and Terry Brown.
Wayne will be missed dearly by his loved ones, but his memory will be in the hearts and minds forever.
