Patricia Lens
Patricia “Pat” Lens, 84, Brandon, South Dakota, formerly of Valley Springs, South Dakota, and Hills, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2019, at the Dougherty Hospice Home in Sioux Falls.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Risen Savior. Inurnment will follow at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Visitation with family will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon, with a Rosary prayer at 7:30 p.m.
Pat is survived by three children, Michael (Jeanne) Lens, Brandon, Kimberly (Bruce) Pedersen, Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, and Kathleen (Jose) Nunez, Eagan; seven grandchildren, Brock (Jessica) Tim, Amanda, Tony, Kaitlin, Leslie, and Nicole; four great-grandchildren, Hollis, Parker, Baylor, and Paisley; and her only sibling, Karen Lens, Dakota Dunes.
Pat was preceded in death by husband, Ed, and her parents, Leonard and Grace (Spies) Brandt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.
